Which Way is She Turning?

What do you see in the picture below? Is the lady turning clockwise or anti-clockwise?

If you see this lady turning clockwise you are using your right brain.
If you see her turning anti-clockwise, you are using your left brain.
Some people can see her turning both ways, but most people see her only one way.

See if you can make her go one way and then the other by shifting the brain’s current.
If you can switch between seeing her turn either way at will without shifting your gaze, your IQ is above 160 … which is almost at genius level!

This was devised at Yale University for a 5 year study on the human brain and its functions.
Only 14% of the US population can see her move both ways.

  1. Is this true? i can actually make her go both ways as i please. Without shifting anything.

  2. No, this is not true. This is an animated gif that randomly gets played backward and forward.

  3. I just like that she has hard nips…lmao

  4. Of course it is not a lie! You probably can’t make she turn the side with your own mind and want to make everybody believes it is a lie, but it is not! And I can tell that, because I can do it! It is real! If you concentrate, you can make she goes wherever direction you want to!

  5. It’s true. Watch her foot, and when its almost starting a new revolution visualize it going the other way….normally took me one or two times of thinking that before it switched…I got it to switch back and forth before it did a 180, and various other combinations of rotations; so I’m pretty sure its not a vid on a loop.

  6. Huh thats weird, i watched her at first shes was counter-clockwise, I downloaded the gif to see if its bull, then it changed, then i went to the website and it was clockwise, i touched my d%$k and she turned counterclockwise, then didnt and went back… I think thats bizarre

    good unknown!

  8. I can see how it turns both directions but really now, an IQ above 160? I’m a ninth grade drop out. It just proves to show that money pays for education, not knowledge.

  9. It only goes one way. There are 34 frames. The only catch is it lingers a little longer on a few.

  10. 140 is genius.

  11. This is a brilliant optical illusion!

At first I only saw it move counter-clockwise and could not understand why anyone would think it moved clockwise.

Then, I used other computer windows to isolate only the bottom quarter of the image and realized I could make the legs move clockwise or counter-clockwise at my will. I slowly expanded the regions of the image until I could simply stare at the image and make it shift direction. Its still hard, but the image can definitely go in either direction.

    I don’t believe the left-brained/right-brain stuff for a minute.

  12. “It only goes one way. There are 34 frames. The only catch is it lingers a little longer on a few.”

    ^
    That.
Also, look at the shadow. Don’t be stupid, the foot only moves in one direction, thus there is no way that you could see it in another direction. All you emperors above, congrats on your new clothes.
Also, an IQ of 160? Really? Sweet, then my IQ of ~170 should be able to make her do a headstand. By the way, what test are you using to measure IQ. It’s just a matter of curiosity – I would never doubt your methodology, seeing as you’ve provided a totally reliable and valid test above. Is that the test, then? What do you call it? How do you score it?
    I am a curious person.

  13. hey me…. its you who come off looking like the ass. it goes one way but appears to spin in the direction that your minds eye perceives it. i can make it APPEAR to spin in either direction simply by staring at the PIVOT FOOT and IMAGINE it spinning in that direction. ill bet there is a strong correlation between those people who are mistakenly sure its a trick and those who call themselves conservatives ( i.e. closed minded).

  14. For what it’s worth, the way this trick works is that in any one of the frames, she could be facing you OR facing away from you. So there are two ways to perceive each frame. So you see her as spinning clockwise if you see her head tilted toward the right or counterclockwise if you see her head tilted toward the left. It wouldn’t work if she weren’t in silhouette.

And no, this has nothing (or very little) to do with IQ. The idea that you can determine your IQ just by staring at a spinning picture is just silly. :)

  15. I would suggest not looking at the foot.
The shadow is “further away” (visible) when it swings from right to left, but “near” (off screen) when it swings from left to right. So her foot is also moving right to left when it’s away from you, and left to right when close to you. If you watch the lower portion of the screen, she’ll be turning counter-clockwise.
Whoever made the illusion should have left the shadow out: it gives a “right answer”.

  16. Hahaha you guys, just watch the image long enough. She switches from clockwise to anti-clockwise. She does both, and I see both. I guess that makes me a genius as well. :)

Love the fact that she’s got a great rack and hard nipples.

  17. If you concentrate, you can make here stop spinning — that is, you can make her swing back and forth repeatedly, either facing you or facing away. You just have to switch perspectives every time her leg is fully extended in either direction.

  18. I should warn — that one isn’t physically possible, since she’s trading left and right halves. But if you’re willing to suspend disbelief, it’s a very cool effect.
